Those red sky mornings are few and far between. Baby loons are only cute to photograph for about the first ten days after the hatch (they grow very quickly). That means catching this type of color is not an easy task. There is a very brief time spanning only about three minutes when the sunrise color is this intense. I was so fortunate to be blessed with the color, the loons, and the mood.
