About

Rick’s journey with wildlife photography began over 40 years ago in the remote woods of Maine. A little plastic Kodak camera gave him his start to his professional career. Libby’s story is similar, starting with horses as subjects, her passion for all things animal - wild and domestic- as well as a deep-seated love for the outdoors drew her in as a photographer.

Kismet brought us together one fateful morning at a loon pond.

OUR APPROACH TO WILDLIFE ENCOUNTERS.

Our approach is quite unique, we choose to shoot much of our art from a kayak, using bean bags and monopods. Our photographic journey has transitioned from shooting just still photos to a mix of stills and video. Our love of all wildlife (starting with moose and loons) has evolved to a place of respect for them. These animals have taught us so much by allowing us into their lives and spaces, letting us observe as they share. We simply love it when we get the job done without disturbing them.
